How to Lose Weight With Home Body Wraps

Home body wraps are wrapping devices you can purchase and use at home to detoxify your body quickly in the comfort of your home. Body wraps work by having you wear the wrap and do exercises that make you sweat. Moisture literally squeezes out of your body in many cases while wearing home body wraps.

    Apply the lotion that comes with your body wrap kit to your skin. Do this in areas such as the stomach, buttocks, thighs and upper arms where the body jiggles. The lotion should not be applied very thickly. Only apply it in the consistency of soap or lotion. Rub it in evenly all around the areas you are applying it.

    Submerge the bandages in water for about 30 minutes, so they will be soft and malleable. This step can be skipped, but it will be more comfortable if the bandages are soft when they are put on. Make sure they are not too wet, otherwise they will wash the lotion from your body or possibly seep into your skin and deactivate them.

    Wrap the bandages around all areas where lotion was applied, making sure the bandages are soft and moist but not soaking wet. The bandages should be wrapped evenly, so as to avoid discomfort.

    Wait about an hour. At this point, the natural ingredients will soak into your skin, detoxifying your body and tightening and smoothing your skin. Find a comfortable position so that you can remain still for this length of time. Also, if you wish, you may want to have a robe, towel, or blanket to wrap yourself in and keep everything warm. Some people like to exercise during this time while wearing the home body wrap. You can exercise if you like, but certain home body wrap kits recommend against this.

    Remove the bandages. Wait 24 hours to check your results. They will not be instant, but they do not take a long time to show up. If you feel minor discomfort within the next few days, disregard this; it is normal.
