The Total Gym 1000 is a versatile piece of exercise equipment. It covers all of the possible muscle groups in many ways so that those who want to get strength, endurance and flexibility all from one machine can get it from the Total Gym 1000. Aerobics

    Aerobics are important to improve your stamina and endurance. Begin all workout routines with several minutes of aerobics to get your body prepared for strength training, and do aerobics daily to improve your cardiovascular condition. Use the foot pad or Pilates bar to propel yourself with your feet and the hand pulleys to increase your speed at the same time so that you are pushing yourself without overstraining muscles to get your heart rate up.

Strength and Recovery

    The Total Gym 1000 has more than 1,000 exercises grouped into muscle areas so that you can focus on each section of your body in each session. If you work all areas of your body in a single session, make sure you give yourself at least one day of rest in between the next strength training session so your muscles can repair themselves.
