Just as important as access to a treadmill is your ability to turn your daily workouts into positive habits and a healthier lifestyle.

Time

    Time constraints are the number one reason for a lack of exercise in people's lives. Spending an hour a day at the gym is more than most are willing or able to give. A treadmill in your home provides a unique level of flexibility to your schedule. Two 15-minute workouts provide the same exercise benefits as one 30-minute workout. The goal is for you to turn on your morning show and step onto the treadmill without giving much thought to the fact that you are about to work out.

Add Weights

    Arm and leg weights add muscle training to your treadmill workout. Adding muscle training to your standard jog provides a significant amount of increased weight loss. Use your largest muscles while you are doing this, increasing your fat-burning process instead of your glucose-burning process. This means direct fat burning and weight loss.
