    Do a lot of cardio. Exercise itself causes a high caloric expenditure, but cardiovascular exercise like running and biking is more effective for weight loss. In this case, it needs to be long and it needs to be intense. Try to do a minimum of 60 to 90 minutes of higher-intensity cardio on both days. This will maximize caloric expenditure and also amp up the resting metabolism. Another option is to wear a sauna sweat suit while exercising. This really induces sweating, and can bring about a significant amount of weight loss in a hurry.

    Drink a lot of water. Drinking mass amounts of water will not only help flush the body of impurities, but will also aid in the elimination of subcutaneous fluid that the body often holds onto around the hips, thighs, ankles and belly. As an added benefit, it also speeds up your metabolism.

    Do a juice fast. Juice-fasting has been done for many years to lose weight in a hurry. It is not out of the question to lose 3 to 4 lbs. a day. Make fresh juices in a blender and use them as your main source of calories throughout the day.

    Do not overeat. It is essential to take in nutrients for survival, but there should definitely not be an overabundance of calories.     Visit a sauna. Going to a sauna or attending a hot yoga class can not only detox the system, making it run more effectively, but it can also cause rapid weight loss. Stay very hydrated before, during and after attending.

    Wear a sauna sweat suit when working out. If you can't make it to the sauna or yoga class, wearing a sweat suit brings the class or sauna to you. Often, mixed martial-arts fighters, wrestlers and boxers wear these suits to cut weight in a hurry. They help increase weight loss from the ankles all the way up to the neck by increasing body heat.
